Steem Basic Income - Weekly Voting Distribution

Steem Basic Income

Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

Pool 1 accounts voted

We first posted our distribution chart four weeks ago. The labeling issues we noted the last few weeks have been resolved, as it now says votees, instead of votes. There are a number of inactives in Pool 1 , or it would actually be 500. We are moving inactive members down into Pool 2 after 30 days of inactivity. The actual number of votes is much higher!

Last week we had an 11.2% self-vote, which is now in line with expectations.

Pool 2 accounts voted

The voting weight that went to @steembasicincome is back up as we adjust to the surge in inactive members between 30 and 60 days. Inactives past 60 days are moved down into pool 3.

Pool 3 accounts voted

Pool 3 upvotes come from @sbi3!

The voting weight that went to @steembasicincome is high due to the number of inactive members between 60 and 90 days. Inactives past 90 days are moved down into pool 4. We have launched pool 4, even with the low number of shares in pool 3, so that hyperactive members can still receive a fair upvote without depleting the voting weight that should go to other members.

The voting weight that went to @steembasicincome is high due to the number of inactive members beyond 90 days. We do not remove inactive members from the program until they have been inactive for at least 180 days, so we expect this proportion to continue to climb. When we fully automate, we will have a better solution for managing our voting weight. For now we are upvoting extra @steembasicincome comments to keep voting power from hitting 100%.
