Beat Battle League Season Two

Producers of Steemit the #beatbattle is back for Season Two.

Over 29+ producers were apart of the incredible Season One of the Beat Battle League and it created such a memorable experience for everyone involved. What an incredible community that is building and helping each other.

The Beat Battle League is a Beat Battle challenge every 10 days that the music producers of Steemit can produce an entry based off a theme or sampled material for that round.

Remember the winner of the Beat Battle League will receive a Championship Belt so they can proudly showcase their championship.

@seveaux is coming for the championship again in Season Two. Looking forward to an epic season.

Theme Songs

We all have those theme songs that when we listen to trigger such emotion.

Whether they be from our favorite movie or TV shows those theme songs stay imprinted in our minds and trigger those memories.

Let's harness this energy to create some epic beats created from theme songs.

Use your favorite theme songs as a foundation for a beat or if you are feeling really creative you can create your own theme song (like how @beatseb created his own comic book character for the Comic Book theme from last season).

Remember the entries for the Beat Battle League are judged on:

Sound Quality: does the beat sound crispy, in speakers and headphones, is there cracking or recording errors? How loud can we play it before you notice quality issues? etc
Technicality: what are the skills you displayed in making this beat? The technical aspects of the your craft. The layers and sounds do they match? How many? etc
Creativity: how unique your entry is. How well it revolves around the universal theme? Holy smokes we have never heard that sound before? A creative video and/or artwork o yeahhhhh.

Also, sharing the story about the creation of your art in your Steemit post helps the judging panel and community gain perspective and knowledge on yourself and the message you are sharing.

Prize Pool

After giving out roughly 90 SBD/STEEM a week between the #beatbattle & Steemit Music League Challenge for all of Season One (for a total of over 1000+ SBD/STEEM), I am adjusting the prize pool a little.

The prize pool is as follows:

FIRST PLACE WINNER: 8 STEEM + 42 SMOKE for 50 points

SECOND PLACE WINNER: 4 STEEM + 36 SMOKE for 40 points

THIRD PLACE WINNER: 2 STEEM + 31 SMOKE for 33 points

FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 1 STEEM + 26 SMOKE for 27 points

COMMUNITY FAVORITE: 20 SMOKE for 20 points

The Community Favorite each week will be determined by the amount of upvotes and comments responding to their entries, upvotes on their submission comment, and total community support on post.

Round #1 of the Beat Battle League starts today and will accept submissions until January 25th night with winners being announced Friday night (January 26th).

The team of @chiefmappster, @danyelk, @beatseb, and @derekmiller are pumped to see what is in store for this week.

Don't forget it helps the judges and the community for you to make a post about your entry, with how you created it, the meaning behind it, how the theme came into play.

It is just another way for us Steemians to get to know you and your message.

The Beat Battle League is one of the contests apart of the Steemit Music League.

The Steemit Music League is a community built by the community for the community with the goal of providing the most feedback, recognition, and rewards and possible all while bringing Steemians together.

As a result the Steemit Music Alliance Discord channel was born.

You can connect with other community members, play music live, get feedback from community members, get beats and tracks demoed, and listen to entries with others live via the SMA Discord bots.
