Beat Battle League Week Seven

Steemians we have an @officialfuzzy and Beyond Bitcoin inspired Week Seven in the League.

Continuing with the mutual aid theme of Steemit (and hopefully one day the world), @officialfuzzy will use the beats created by the epic music producers of the Beat Battle League in the Beyond Bitcoin podcast and upcoming expansion.

That's right the theme this week is Beyond Bitcoin inspired by @officialfuzzy and the movement of Beyond Bitcoin.

If you are unaware, Beyond Bitcoin is a podcast talking about all things cryptocurrency and life. It has been broadcasted for five (5 ) years now by @officialfuzzy and has created some of the synergies you see and use on a daily basis today.

In it's current form, Beyond Bitcoin is hosted on Mumble on its own private server and hosts multiple hangouts and the Whaletank on a weekly basis.

It was in the most recent Whaletank where the Beat Battle League was discussed with the Steemit Music League and the synergy was created.

Beyond Bitcoin would love more beats to use for its broadcasts, recap videos and audio, and marketing material.

To help do our part for this epic community, this week's theme for the Beat Battle League is:

Beyond Bitcoin

This could mean many different things to each Steemian.

One option is to take it literally as life beyond bitcoin.

Another is to take it as the current brand which is the discussion of all things cryptocurrency.

Another option is to infuse the one of the followings foundations of Beyond Bitcoin into your entry:

Entrepreneurship,
Building projects and movements,
Doing the right thing and building long-term growth,
Technology and cryptocurrency, and/or
Truth and justice.

We are excited to bring the mutual aid aspect of Steemit to this week of the Beat Battle League and are so pumped to see what your talented and creative minds create.

Remember the entries are judged on:

Sound Quality: does this shit sound crispy, in speakers and headphones, is there cracking or recording errors? How loud can we play it before you notice quality issues? etc
Technicality: what are the skills you displayed in making this beat? The technical aspects of the your craft. The layers and sounds do they match? How many? etc
Creativity: how unique your entry is. How well it revolves around the universal theme? O shit we have never heard that sound before? Stuff like that.

The prize pool is as follows:

FIRST PLACE WINNER: 65 Whaleshares + 20 SBD for a total of 85 Points

SECOND PLACE WINNER: 50 Whaleshares + 10 SBD for a total of 60 Points

THIRD PLACE WINNER: 40 Whaleshares + 6 SBD for a total of 46 Points

FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 30 Whaleshares + 4 SBD for a total of 34 Points

CROWD FAVORITE: 10 SBD for a total of 10 Points

The crowd favorite can be awarded to any Steemian with any entry this week. So the first place winner could win additional rewards or it could be another Steemian. All depends on you the Steemit community :)

Also, we added another judge, @instrumentals, to the Beat Battle League panel. That makes the panel now: @chiefmappster, @vandigital, @jphenderson, @danyelk, @bambam808, and @instrumentals.

It is our goal to provide the most critical feedback from the most diverse group of judges and the above group is doing their best to provide the Steemians involved in the League with the best experience possible.

@instrumentals is an OG beat producer both off and online.

He has experience working in the mainstream music industry and doing his own thing. And just look at his results.

It is so epic he is taking the time out of busy schedule to help us in the League.

@danyelk is the Light & Love OG Tech Shaman.

He has so much knowledge to share with us Steemians. He has lived and/or traveled to so many countries its incredible. Speaks 5+ languages and is currently living in Mauritius at the moment.

He has been apart of the biggest music events and experiences in the world. From Berlin to South America, this guy knows all types of music and is so pumped to share his passion and knowledge with us.

And thirdly, @bambam808 is one of the most epic Steemians.

Not only is he the commander of Steemit's Got Talent, he is huge in the gaming scene, both on and off Steemit.

It is safe to say he is an excellent judge of talent and mix that with his music and gaming experience, he brings an unique perspective that is hard to get.

Also, we know that for some of you the love and passion for music runs deep so we also have the Second Week of the Steemit Music League Challenge going. The first week was epic and with two entries so far we are extending this second week until Friday night to get more participation.
