Beat Battle League: Week Three : Love Endures

My entry for the Beat Battle League week 3 challenge. @chiefmappster/beat-battle-league-week-three

The cue for this beat was the concept of universal love. Love runs the gammut of human feeling. It has both positive and negative effects on us, it is both light and dark. This one's about missing somebody, and how dark it can feel waiting for that love to come back. For the sun to rise after the night of loving someone in their absence.

I Laced this together using a Boss SP-303 Dr. Sample, a DR-202 drum machine and a Technics SL-1200. Most non-native drum sounds pulled from "Super Duck Breaks" off of Stonesthrow Records, the textures toward the end pulled from this single by Amnesty:

The Vocal soliloquy is the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi off of his eponymous record (Liberty ‎ LBS83075)
