My afternoon ride went through Almaden lake park which is the photo below. The white speck near the middle of the photo is an egret looking for a late lunch.
The road bike ride was 27 miles and 550 feet of climbing. It was a typical late fall day, clear and a crisp 57*. A bit chilly for riding a bike, I'm looking to get some real winter cloths. (Thermal attire)
GPS is from a Garmin Vivoactive HR (Which I have done several reviews on), Wahoo Fitness HRM and uploaded to Strava.
I passed another small lake named Calero. The mountain peak in the background is Mt Umunhum which housed a radar tower that was used years ago by the airforce. The local park division just opened the peak up this year to the public with hiking and biking trails.
Happy beautiful Sunday!
