This is my entry for the #beautifulsunday hosted by @ace108 and for #sublimesunday by @c0ff33a
The Bolivar square of La Asunción
This beautiful square is located in the historic center of the town of La Asunción, which is the capital of Nueva Esparta state, which in turn is made up of three islands: Margarita, Coche and Cubagua. This is considered one of the most beautiful and best preserved squares in the whole country because in addition to having beautiful gardens surrounded by oak trees, has many architectural and historical pieces of the colonial era.
I have always liked to visit places and spend an afternoon or a morning in it, walk, enjoy the scenery and sit down to spend a very pleasant moment, all this I could do in this beautiful square, I went with my beloved @unataldani in hours of the morning and we had a relaxing and different time, we sat talking, then we went around the square and bought something to eat and then we decided to take some pictures of the square to have a memory of that day.
The Church Nuestra Señora de La Asunción
And if that was not enough, this square has one of the oldest buildings in the country, the Nuestra Señora de La Asunción church, which was built around 1571 and finished in 1621. Today it is still in operation, hosting several religious events and being a attractive for photographers and lovers of colonial history and architecture.
I hope you enjoyed it, thanks to @ace108 and @c0ff33a for this beautiful initiative.
