Sunday is that day of the week when you can get disconnected from the daily routine and enjoy some free time with your loved ones. It's the perfect moment to discover new places and to enjoy new experiences.

Today, let's explore the wonderful city of Brasov which I have revisited during my winter break. I've been here countless times, but nothing compares to a winter escape in this magnificent city.

With a population of 253K inhabitants, Brasov is the 7th largest city in Romania. It is located in Transylvania region, in mountainous region, at about 166 kilometres (103 miles) north of Bucharest.

The city is world renowned for the Golden Stag International Music Festival, hosted every summer. The first edition of this music festival was held in 1967. Along the years, many superstars sang on the scene of the festival among whom Toto Cutugno, James Brown, Kylie Minogue, Diana Ross, Christina Aguilera, Ray Charles, UB 40, INXS, Scorpions, Tom Jones, Tiziano Ferro, Ricky Martin, P!nk, Sheryl Crow, Kelly Family, t.A.T.u., Ruslana and many others.

During winter time, the city gets animated and a Christmas market is opened every year.

My favourite crepe with cranberries jam, banana and some crackers. Probably one of the best, I have ever eaten.
