📷Beautiful Sunday – "Waterway" seen from El Malecon (Ciudad Guayana)📷

Hello and happy Sunday for all the steemians! ... For the tag today I want to share some nice images of a kind of a "waterway" as I call it, from El Malecon (Ciudad Guayana).

These images I took 12 years ago to visit my maternal family in Guayana. I have to confess that I was very impressed that day because I saw many cargo ships circulating along this river called Rio Orinoco, one of the largest in the world.

It was a surprise for me because I did not know that the big ships could trancitar in the rivers entering from the ocean from and to all parts of the world.

It's hard to believe (at least for me at that moment) that these huge ships can navigate upstream for more than 500 km from the Delta del Orinoco (Delta Amacuro State)

I took the trouble to make some captures from the Google Earth application to have reference of the distance traveled by the cargo ships.

As you can see in the capture I made, the journey is very long as I mentioned.

In this image I wanted to show the island where I was born (Margarita Island) to also have reference of the trip that I made only to this beautiful place.
