Just in the last week, everything has popped in my garden (to be truthful my wife does all the work). I took a few shots this afternoon in the overcast skies with my new camera. I’m still learning the settings for different situations. I was trying to get maximum “bokeh” today by setting the camera to Aperture mode and using a very small focus area in the center of the shot. I shot them in raw and edited them using Affinity Photo for the IPad. It processes the raw files and allows you to convert to a very high resolution jpeg file.
My wife loves garden figurines, so we have a variety of little sculptures and statues spread among the plants and flowers.
The purple iris are just starting to bloom so there is a mix of buds and flowers. In the blurred background you can see the dark red mound of the Japanese Laceleaf Maple. It is my favorite tree in my yard.
Here’s a shot of our walkway with the maple on the right. The purple bugleweed groundcover lines the walkway.
And here is our rusty little cast iron puppy, sitting up on the rock wall waiting for a treat.
I hope your Sunday was beautiful as well. This is my contribution to @ace108’s #beautifulsunday theme.
