Hello all, I'm sharing my road bike ride this morning in the south bay area Calif. The shot below is from a bridge over highway 17 where grade school kids painted each square with painting of the Los Gatos town and area.
My ride was 30 miles and around 1600 feet of climbing. It started out on the cool side in the low 60's, but warmed up quite nice near the end of the ride.
GPS data from a garmin vivoactive HR, wahoo fitness HRM, uploaded to Strava. The top graph is speed, 2nd is estimated power, 3rd is heart rate and 4th is cadence. It's always interesting to see the data at the end of the ride. I'd like to improve the average speed, so it's something to work on.
Another shot of the Los Gatos bridge. I always stop here and look around to see new paintings as they are vibrant in color and some of those kids paint quite well.
I stopped at Campbell park for some water and snapped a few shots. The LGCT (Los Gatos Creek Trail) runs for miles to lexington reservoir, it's a great place for hiking, running, cycling, lunch, kids, etc...
They have a few plaques with the habitat surrounding the area/creek. They also have places to workout, pull-up bars, sit-ups, stair steps...
Fall is here as leaves are turning color and the shadows are getting longer.
Happy Beautiful Sunday!
