Hello all, I'm sharing my 'Beautiful Sunday' mountain bike ride. I was meeting a friend near the trail head at 9am and decided to get an early start pick up some apples from Bella Farms about 10 miles away in Aptos, CA.
It is an honor system where you fill up a bag and pay $5 into a till. Todays apples were pippin, golden delicious and gala. Fresh, sweet and crunchy apples are always good!
The ride today was just over 18 miles and 2,300 feet of elevation at a park named Pogonip and Wilder Ranch.
There were some short steep sections which are always tough to climb. GPS data from a Garmin Vivoactive HR with Wahoo fitness HRM and uploaded to Strava.
There are large water barrels above the University of Santa Cruz campus. I think they used to use them to feed the campus quite a while ago... Now, local spray paint artists use them as their canvas. (Guess you could see it as grafitti)
Happy Sunday!
