Alice and her friends found their way to Central Park in 1959, when George Delacorte commissioned this bronze statue as a gift to the children of New York City.

The sculpture is a favorite among children, who love to climb at the top of it and explore it spaces.It is located just north of the Conservatory Water at East 74th Street, Alice in Wonderland stands eleven feet tall in bronze.
