#BeautifulSunday and #SublimeSunday :) - Climbing to the Cristo Rei mountain, Díli, East Timor

Hi, my friends,

This is my entry for the #BeautifulSunday challenge, initiated by @ace108. Thanks, my friend!

And I'm also posting today inspired by #SublimeSunday, a tag from @c0ff33a! Thanks!

Today I've climbed the stairs (more than 400!) up to the Cristo Rei mountain, the landmark of Díli, and alike the Cristo Redentor of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, or the Cristo Rei in Lisbon, Portugal.

I started the walk from my place, and the sun was already setting down over the Areia Branca beach. On a Sunday, this beach gets more populated, people coming from the city to enjoy a coconut water, to simply play by the beach with their kids... or both!
The tropical sunset was, once more, superb. A true show and blessing for our eyes to witness.

My Luna came also with me. She loves to walk with me and, despite being a bit wild, when she sees me with my walking shoes and her collar in my hand, she runs into me and immediately prepares his neck so I can put it to her! Look at her!

The fisherman was returning from his work. He was cleaning and preparing the fishnet for tomorrow.

Then I climbed the stairs to the upper level before the statue, an open-air church where often masses take place on special occasions. The more I climbed, the more and more amazing the views, although the evening was already falling over the city.

Some more steps up and we reached the top of the mountain. The Christ was there, imponent, overlooking and blessing the city and the sea. The lights were on all over. Luna was tired, and so was I! But it was worth. I hadn't been there, on the top, for a long while.

The moon, almost full, was there also, already high, being part of this beautiful scenery.

Then we started to climb down. I forgot to say there's a Via Sacra in the stairs, depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, like this one:

I will be back more often from now on. As I told you last Sunday, I'm willing to enjoy the present and the beautiful things I have around me.
Next time I will bring my camera and tripod ;).

I hope you all enjoyed this walk with me :)!

Thanks, @ace108 and @c0ff33a :)
Have a great Sunday, my friends!
