This is my entry for the BeautifulSunday challenge, initiated by @ace108.
Today I went to visit an old fort on the surroundings of Díli, the capital of East Timor, where I currently live and work.
The fort is located in the beautiful coastal area of Maubara.
This is an old cannon in excellent condition inside the fort.
Opposite the fort entrance there are some stalls that sell handicrafted products made of palm leafs beautifully decorated and multicolored.
I was lucky because, as a cherry on the top of the cake, I could see some whales that make this sea their migratory path to other places. Unfortunately they were too far to make a decent shot. But I was really happy to have the opportunity of seeing them!
