To a Slightly Beautiful and Sublime Sunday
Wow don't the days seem to whip right on by! Seems we are on the downhill slide of summer. I want to thank @ace108 for running the beautiful Sunday tag every week and keeping such detailed stats. Also, a shout out to @c0ff33a for the sublime Sunday tag where your random Sunday posts are always welcome!
There were plenty of people enjoying the warmth of the water over at the sand bar. However, like many good things in life, that nice weather was soon going to give way to a storm that sailed right in.
My day was none too fun. I mean first I had to sheer the woolly mammoth (my son Ben lol)
Then I spent time cleaning up the bathroom where the sheering took place. That's always lots of fun!
I even bagged and hauled a bunch of books as well as a printer/scanner/fax/copier to Goodwill as they were open till 6.
I thought I would practice some more sushi making, so I put the sushi rice on...
I julienned some cream cheese and cucumbers.
Added some tunafish.
Its a fun "hobby"!
One funny thing happened when I finished. I set a knife down to wash it and landed so as the blade happened to float in the water. It was like balanced and not touching the handle.
We were of course out on the boat, but although we had some on out right...
The prevailing winds brought us the mess from the left!
It was not long before we had this..
And this!
So I have no good sunset to share from tonight, so I will borrow from the other day.
