If there is a place to spend a nice Sunday without a doubt it is the national park "El Avila", located in the center-north of Venezuela. It extends from Caracas and all the north of the Miranda state and south of the Vargas state.
It is one of the main tourist attractions of the capital and I think that for all Venezuelans it is a dream to visit it. Since I was little I wanted to know the place and when I did it was very special.
This park offers multiple trails to its visitors, which can be done by car, cable car or simply by walking. I wanted to go up by cable car to admire this beautiful city from the heights and it was incredible.
The view is impressive and the weather is amazing. There is an ice rink, numerous places to buy souvenirs and delicious food. Something that is very popular are strawberries with cream and, of course, I did not hesitate to try them.
