My Share for #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108
Rain has been on and off these past few days and I really needed to get out, to blow off some steam this weekend.
This section is called "By The Bay Amusement Park" in Mall of Asia. This Mall is the third largest in the Philippines and attracts around 200,000 people daily. The Amusement park opened back in 2011 and has 17 rides.
The Mall of Asia globe greeted us on our way to the Amusement Park in this rainy day. I was hopeful the rain would stop so we can enjoy our walk by the bay.
With a little bit of hope and luck nature was on our side. This gave us some time to enjoy this beautiful walk.
Most of the rides are were still wet so rides were still empty. People we flooding in though as it is a good place to take a walk and enjoy the ocean breeze.
I'm not a big fan of rides especially heights but sometimes I'm forced to take my kids for a spin or two or a drop perhaps.
People here love games especially winning stuffed animals in Amusement parks. Never did win anything yet as I find it hard maybe there is a trick to it or skill needed. Sometimes I see people going home with 3 or 4 giant stuffed animals.
A game of ring toss get the ring in the golden bottle and win the mega prize. I thinks it's a bigger stuffed bear which probably a few has won. A game which I find very challenging and the ring bounces off the bottle once you get it in but not impossible.
Tossing a ball in that bucket looks easy but same as the ring game it bounces off the bucket. If anyone out there knows a trick or two please be kind enough to share. It is embarrassing as I could not win a bear for my daughter.
The mood by the bay attracts people from different walks of life. Not just a family place but also perfect for lovers. A quiet romantic dinner, memorable stroll along or just find a spot to enjoy the beautiful sunset on a good day.
The place is also filled with coffee shops, restaurants and bars. There is a place to cater whatever you may crave for along that long bay. Also at the very end there is a ferry where you could have a romantic dinner for two and enjoy the scenic cityscape as you cruise along.
The jewel of this Amusement Park "The SM MOA Eye" is the 180 ft ferris wheel with air conditioning which can accommodate 216 people. The ride would cost you around $4.
Thank you for taking this walk with me in this #beautifulsunday. It does not need to be expensive to spend time with the family but the most important part is being together as memories are priceless. As a bonus I enjoyed sharing this experience with Steemians. Cheers!
