Submission for #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108

Hello Steemians a beautiful Sunday Morning and perfect to take a walk thru history. This place is called "The Aguinaldo Shrine" the ancestral home of the first President of the Philippines. Spanish inspired the house was built in 1845 and reconstructions were made until 1921.

The mansion has been turned into a museum and it is amazing how it has been properly maintained. The place is open daily from 8-4 in the afternoon.

I love how the sun shines thru the master's bedroom in the morning.

Here is an old portrait of the President that gives out a very nostalgic feeling once you see it.

This is the old washroom and as you could see there's an electric outlet and upgraded faucet. This needed to be done since this is an ancestral home some of the next generations used to live here.

The place is filled with antique furniture and if you are an antique lover you would love this place. Some of the furniture even comes from different parts of the world. Walking thru this place gives you a feeling that you are traveling back thru time. I kept imagining what they could be doing at this time of day.

This is called the Music Room where important guests are taken in. There is also a secret passageway hidden in this room.

The dining room also a place where important meetings are held during the war. That round table there is has no cuts in between and was taken from a single tree just imagine how big that tree is.

Here are some photos of National Heroes which decorates the hallway that leads to the back part of the house.
