Noche Buena Familia - Beautiful Sunday

A few hours before Christmas Eve. Families come to together to have the Noche Buena (Christmas Eve Dinner). Come with me and join us in Celebrating Christmas Eve.

A Spanish custom which was adapted in the Philippines traced back from the 15th century. This is a dinner celebrated with the family. The traditional menu includes lechon, pancit, quezo de bola and the star of the feast which is the jamon. My wife @mhel slaved herself in the kitchen for hours to prepare our Christmas dinner which we love her so much for doing so.

The menu is for dinner includes

Carbonara (pasta with cream, bacon, ham and cheese)

Philippine Spaghetti

Fried Chicken

Jamon de Bola

Me and @bearkid did some decorating on the table to make things look a little nice for my shoot. I think she did a good job don't you think?

Ham of Excellente

Fried Chicken is always on the menu during celebrations like birthdays, Christmas and other celebrations here. Crispy and moist on the inside just how we love it.

Now this is the Carbonara sauce which I absolutely love and absolutely delicious. It was a hit with the family and she was asked to make it again on New Year's Eve. The closest way to a man's heart is thru his belly and I could attest to that.

My aunt and in laws finally arrived and time to dig in. Everyone was still crazy about the Carbonara and my wife's hard work in the kitchen paid off with all the praises she received. My in laws was enjoying our dinner even brought cake and ice cream for the desert to add to the menu.

Now here is @bearkid with her grandma who is crazy about her as she is the only girl in all her grandchildren. She does not admit it but clearly she is the favorite and always treated like a baby princess.

Most families here have sons , daughters and relatives abroad. Working to have a better life. We try to connect as much as we can to keep our bond strong. During this time it's really hard to be away from them and wishing you could all be together even for this moment.

Everyone had their fill and time for some music to entertain us this evening.
