We live in different cities, I work, she studies, and the distance between us is usually about 600 km. I can't see her as often as I'd love to. And we missed each other sooo much! The day we meet is always long awaited and happy.
She arrived yesterday, and l left today. Yesterday was dedicated to various cases, shopping and gym, and today we just walk around the Kyiv and enjoyed a wonderful weather and the weekend. It was even 2 holidays: day of the city and religious holiday - Holy Trinity. I fogot about my camera, so all shots are from my smartphone.
We started at Kontraktova square and bought some chocolate at Lviv Handmade Chocolate.
Then went to Landscape Park "Spivoche Pole". It was late for annual tulips fest, but it has something interesting in any season.
Especially for this holiday there was a concert of chorus from all parts of Ukraine. I couldn't take my eyes from costumes of singers!
And then, time for a good lunch!
And move to the next beautiful place - Botanical garden. This place is also beautiful in every season, even in winter, as there is a couple of greenhouses with tropical plants, birds, and snakes, etc. the garden is devided into zones dedicated to different parts of Ukraine, Europe and the world.
I am here not often, and every time I see something new. E. g. this Japanese garden.
I don't know what is the name of this amazing tree (or bush?), but its aroma is gorgeous!
And somewhere here I felt really tired ... But lavender and poppies are so sweet!
The last stop and must-see place is Eden Garden. I was quite sure that both - my daughter and husband - will enjoy this place. And so do I.
It was a blessed day with my small family. My daughter now is on her way back, and I started to miss her again. But the more exciting will be the meeting.
