Fucking Hell Lager Helles
Brewery: Fucking Hell GmbH & Co. Handels KG
I saw this beer in the shop and was, of course, immediately attracted to it due to it's slightly unusual name! After taking less than a second to decide to buy it, I rushed home to try it.
It turns out that the beer was originally brewed in the rather humorously named Bavarian town of 'Fucking', and 'Hell' refers to the German word for pale which is: Helles (often used for this style of lager)

I quite enjoyed the beer, it was rather light and easy to drink, but still had a good taste which was a little sweet and mildly malty. Once poured into the glass, the colour was beautiful to look at, and I couldn't wait to try straight away!
I was attracted by the name, but will certainly buy this beer again.
