This photo I took inside Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse in Kashan, Iran. It was built in the 16th century, during the Safavid era. It was also known as the Qasemi Bathhouse, and despite being named after a sultan, is was a public bathhouse with a clever water heating system and many different halls for different purposes - from smoking hookah to massage.
