NEW! STEEMIT EXLIBRIS COMPETITION: home libraries competition. Competition announcement

Hello friends!

In our world of electronic media it is hard to find someone who has a home library of paper books. Many people find real books uncomfortable. But theey are REAL books!

Of course, you can see reproductions of paintings by great artists and listen to audio recordings of concerts on the Internet. But true fans of live art will agree with me that this does not replace a real presence in a museum or an opera.

Likewise, no perfectly scanned copy can replace a paper book with its paint smell, volume weight, and fantastic binding.

Once I had more than a thousand volumes of various literature from the Rig Veda and Popol Vuh to Haruki Murakami and Paulo Coelho. I've been collecting them for over 15 years.

The floor-to-ceiling book shelves were made by me personally.

Then my life had changed dramatically, and the library remained in the past.

Now in my library there are few books, but those are the most necessary for me.

So, I am announcing a home library competition.

The conditions of the competition:

1) post photos of your home library,

2) accompany them with a short story of its creation,

3) you can write separately about the most important book/books for you,

4) add #steemitexlibris as one of the first five tags,

5) add you country tag.

The post can be written in any language.
To make it easier for me to find your post, leave a link to it in the comments to this post.

Terms of the competition: from 08.02.2021 (00:00) to 21.02.2021 (23:59).

Awards:

1st place - 30 steem,

2nd place - 20 steem,

3rd place - 10 steem.

If anyone is willing to support the competition financially, the amount of awards will be increased.

I invite the Steemit Team to support the contest: @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02, @steemitblog contest.
