Finally, @officialfuzzy bought out time to look at all the amazing entries to the "best whaleshares tutorial steemgigs contest" and he has made his pick.
Whaleshares is simply a tool that gives you a means to steer a whale as if it was yours. You can now basically steer whales of your choice and for now, you can have the luxury of controlling two whales "@fuzzyvest and @officialfuzzy", to use for curation efforts.
Due to the high number of entries and hard work on the part of participants, there became need to divide the results into 3 prizes.
All entries were top-notch so his decision came down to entries with more of an edge. When the contest was ran, ofcourse, it was known that there are existing whaleshares tutorials, so his picks all boiled down to factors like creativity, hard work, simplicity etc
This will be first of many such whaleshares contests as with #steemgigs, we constantly look to playing with creativity and try to incite steemians into more "mining with minds" activities and we implore SteemGiggers to do the same.
The Results
First prize is definitely @luvabi; "all day!"
No doubt; "she went out of her way" to create an entry that would stand out! (hold its space)
Ofcourse, she wasn't asked to; but she went out of her way to do something pretty remarkable; an entire "whaleshares FAQ/Tutorials website.
#steemgigs managed to spur her into a bit more creative action somehow and it is easy to disagree with that but we keep that pride to ourselves!
Flex your creative muscles
For answers to any whaleshares questions, you need a hub of FAQs and Answers, plus every steemit resource about whaleshares and there you go: http://luvabi.com/whaleshares.html
@luvabi created http://luvabi.com/whaleshares.html and she'll have an additional 300 Beyondbits to her name!
Note: Beyondbits also has Fiat Value!
2nd & 3rd Prizes
Deciding to keep 2nd and 3rd prizes equal at 100 beyondbits each and these goes to @epicdesigns and @eirik.
@epicdesigns took a shot even when nothing in the form of a prize was guaranteed. He enjoyed what he was doing and even if his entry was a simple whaleshares video and not a full blown post, we left room for it because "he tried".
To complete the video, he had to come on the SteemGigs community to announce that he got stuck because he didn't have any bitshares on his bitshares account to pay the tiny fee required to complete his whaleshares payment, which was needed as a core part of his whaleshares video tutorial and we manage to send him some BTS.
In general, to complete a bitshares transfer transaction, you'll need a small fee!
This is the whaleshares video by @epicdesigns that won 100 Beyondbits:
@eirik did similarly! He has been part of the whaleshares community and could have easily gone to the rear as he was aware that there are many whaleshares tutorials in existence yet he enjoyed himself and put in effort to create yet another explanatory & experienced entry.
It has never been about us!
@eirik also got 100 beyondbits
Winners; please leave below your bitshares name!
