Japanese airline Peach Aviation continues its Bitcoin adoption and outreach plans, revealing that it will install bitcoins (BTM) near multi-airport counters and present its own digital portfolio.

Peach Aviation also presented plans to offer various services to travelers who can be paid with bitcoins . This follows the company 's announcement last month, when it became the first airline in Japan to accept payments with bitcoins for plane tickets.

Thus, the payment system will be introduced on the airline's website and will be operational later this year. On transactions with this currency, a review indicated that "the commission is expected to be cheaper than the 440 yen (about $ 3.93) for credit card payments."

The young Peach Aviation, founded in February 2011 and operational since March 2012, is also the first low-cost airline in Japan. In general, accepting the payments and other plans that the airline will be running, will be focused on promoting the adoption of Bitcoin and in parallel to attract more customers or make the trip "lighter", making possible the growth of the company.

This is possible thanks to the partnership between Bitpoint and Peach Aviation exchange house : these two companies expect the use of the cryptonnet to grow in Japan , so they agreed to work together to offer the following Bitcoin services, according to Bitpoint ad :
Implementation of bitcoin payments at the Peach ticket counters.
Presentation of the digital portfolio of Peach for its customers.
The introduction of payments with bitcoins in stores (such as "souvenir shops", restaurants, lodging facilities, etc.)
Installation of Bitcoin ATMs (BTM) at airports.
Bitpoint
The airline intends to implement any other application related to this type of payments that can contribute to the growth and development of your business.

In addition to accepting bitcoins for online ticket purchases and at their counters, Peach Aviation offers the option of paying with this cryptomoneda at its own tax-free Fuchsia by Peach store , which opened in October 2012 at the International Airport Of Kansai.

Consider that Peach expects more tourists to start using bitcoins with their digital wallet , as this saves them the hassle of carrying cash or having to exchange it for the local currency. In fact, Peach CEO Shinichi Inoue said: "I will devote myself entirely to enabling people to travel without wallets."

On the other hand, the series of services related to Bitcoin that the airline will launch come at a perfect time, since just in March of this year Japan legalized the payments with this criptomoneda in all the territory, measure that has applied since April. So we can expect that many other companies and localities will be encouraged to put into operation payments with Bitcoin or other criptomonedas, as it has already begun to happen .
