Bitcoin Climbs As Most Alt-Coins Fall!

As we approach the fork, Bitcoin has been rallying pretty well and frankly, it's pretty exciting!

But a lot of us have been sitting impatiently waiting for our altcoins to make a move, but they've been stuck in a correction for a while. Most altcoins are on a sideways trajectory right now and it's frustrating, but just take a breath, these coins are recovering from a MASSIVE rally and it's healthy for them to take a break. The longer the sideways trajectory happens, the more we may see a climb in the near future.

Bitcoin has found its way back up to about $2800 with about an 8% gain over the past 24 hours. With the convenience of better transaction times and easier trades, the fork is going to provide a lot of potential. There are of course many problems with the Bitcoin infrastructure when it comes to trading and this will hopefully fix many of the problems, especially considering the rush Btc has seen in the past year. The infrastructure just wasn't ready for this. Hopefully this fix will be able to handle potential massive gains over the next couple of years.

As John McAfee recently said, he'll eat his own dick on national television if Bitcoin doesn't hit $500,000 in 3 years. That's a HUGE statement to make from a tech pioneer, genius and badass!

With that said, I still think it's quite possible to see another large drop before we see a major rise. I was surprised to not see Bitcoin hit $1500 or at least $1600 recently.

STEEM has been proving itself lately as well. Its recovery has been pretty impressive considering what other cryptocurrencies have been doing at the same time. Poor poor Ethereum...

We at WAM will continue to report on Bitcoin and altcoins as well.
