🗞 Bitcoin Cash Drama: Battle Lines Drawn Ahead of Scheduled Hard Fork

Cointelegraph reports on the ‘schism’ in the world of Bitcoin Cash, the cryptocurrency that emerged when the original bitcoin blockchain split, or ‘forked’ in 2017, and was at the time hailed as representing the true vision of Satoshi Nakamoto, ‘bitcoin’s’ pseudonymous creator.

According to Cointelegraph’s report, the Bitcoin Cash protocol is now the focus of a three-way battle between interested parties, Bitcoin Cobra, Bitcoin ABC and nChain (the latter being the blockchain development firm of Craig Wright, who once claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto).

Yet another stablecoin is attracting big investors.

Announced Tuesday, the founder behind a $1.4 billion startup unicorn called TMON is revealing he has raised a $32 million seed round to build a stablecoin called Terra. But while a number of startups have deployed stablecoins – cryptocurrencies engineered to track the price of another asset, usually fiat currency – Terra comes with a notable addition: an existing user base.

🗞 Chinese County Establishes Blockchain Company to Develop Forestry Industry

A county in China’s northern Sichuan province has signed a strategic cooperation contract to establish a new blockchain company in an effort to develop the forestry industry, local news outlet China Net reported August 24.

The Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County of Sichuan Province and Beijing Sinfotek Group have jointly established a new company, Hangzhou Yi Shu Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd for “forestry economic development and industrial poverty alleviation.” The parties signed the cooperation contract in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, on August 19, China Net reports.

🗞 25% of All Smart Contracts Contain Critical Bugs

For every problem that smart contracts solve, they seem to introduce another. In a week in which EOS has made news for all the wrong reasons over a RAM vulnerability, a code auditor has revealed the prevalence of smart contract bugs. Security firm Hosho, which has forged a new partnership with community managers Amazix, has found that one in four projects contains critical vulnerabilities.

As I was explaining you yesterday, we had some pumps and dumps on the korean exchanges about the STEEM. I think some lucky korean people are buying some cheap STEEM on the European and American exchanges to sell them more expensive on the Korean Exchanges. It is not possible for me as european to access to the Korean exchanges so they are the only ones able to do it and enjoy these difference of price.

Have a look below on the STEEM price on the more important exchanges :

As you can see, Bithumb is the first exchange to negociate the STEEM and the price is almost 3X the price that other exchanges are feeding. Let's hope that our Korean friends are good in predictions...
