🗞 New York Lawmaker Proposes Study of State-Backed Cryptocurrency

A New York lawmaker who previously filed several bills related to blockchain has submitted new legislation that calls for studying the creation of a state-backed cryptocurrency.

The measure, dated Feb. 2, calls for the creation of a task force dedicated to studying "the impact of a state-issued cryptocurrency on the state of New York."

🗞 Ukrainian Law May Separate Mining from Cryptocurrencies

Ukrainian legislators should separate the regulation of crypto mining from the legal status of cryptocurrencies. The new approach was proposed by the chairman of an important parliamentary committee who criticized law enforcement agencies for cracking down on crypto miners. Police confiscated mining equipment in a series of raids this week. Authorities claim that coins have been used to finance pro-Russian separatists.

🗞 Blockstream Devs Depart to Design a Different World Computer

Not just fodder for TV jokes, it's a goal that continues to capture the imaginations of developers in the blockchain sphere, and Ben Gorlick and Johnny Dilley are no exception.

Turns out, the developers liked the idea so much they ditched one of the most renowned tech companies in the blockchain industry, Blockstream, to join up with a startup called Crowd Machine where they now serve as the CTO and chief of system architecture, respectively.

STEEM Trading Update by @cryptopassion

So yesterday I was showing you that we used the support line to do a bounce and I was expecting higher highs to validate that bounce :

Here is the current chart ;

We can see that our support line looks strong and stopped for the second time the drop.

However, I'm afraid that we break that support line in case of an important drop of the BTC.
One other scenario would be the "W" pattern that I traced you in green and which is a bullish pattern using the double Bottom.

I would suggest you to wait if this support line hold or not before buying new STEEM. You will perhaps miss the current prices but if the support line break, you will have the opportunity to buy them much more cheaper also.
