As Bitcoin hovers around the historic $7,000, talk of retraces is growing, with one analyst predicting an inevitable fall back to $5,000.

🗞 'A Modest Proposal': Vitalik Unveils Multi-Year Vision for Ethereum
A skinny, 23-year-old hacker in a green "Doge" t-shirt gave us an answer today. At ethereum's flagship conference, Devcon, project creator Vitalik Buterin revealed he has been quietly working on a new long-term plan for the future of the blockchain network. What he called a "modest proposal," it's perhaps better described as a three-to-four-year roadmap for ethereum's technical development.
Buterin told the crowd:
"Scalability is probably problem number one [...] There’s a graveyard of systems that claim to solve the scalability problem but don't. It's a very significant and hard challenge.
These are just known facts."

"The distributed and cross-border nature of digital currencies like Bitcoin means that regulation of the core protocols of these systems is unlikely to be effective. From the Bank's payments policy mandate, digital currencies do not currently appear to raise any pressing regulatory issues.”

🗞 Are Social Platforms Responsible for User-Generated Content?
Allegations of the Trump Administration colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 election have flared up again. While that’s intriguing in its own right, it’s far more interesting to take a look at how some social media and other online businesses are behaving in the wake of this news. Facebook, for example, seems to be on the defensive.

BTC Trading Update by @cryptopassion
Yesterday I was saying you that the move was not powerfull enough for a break out from that long term triangle.
It took little more time than expected but it did it during the night:
It broke the little triangle with a UP and reached the level around $7000 that I was talking to you to validate the break out scenario and avoid the Head Fake.
We should have now a little correction soon but the Bull trend is clearly back ! Enjoy !
