Check another one off on the goals list of @taskmanager. Today I created the bitshares asset TASKMANAGER and put some up for sale on the bitshares market for 2.222 OPEN.STEEM each. This will be the lowest I will sell this asset anywhere besides via this post.

So what is TASKMANAGER?

It is an investment/reward token hosted on the Bitshares blockchain for the @taskmanager account and any future related Task Manager projects, including the website and resteem services.

10%+ of the liquid STEEM from all @taskmanager posts starting with this one, will be used to buy back and burn the TASKMANAGER asset in the form of OPEN.STEEM.

Supporters of the Daily Task Manager will be issued small amounts of TASKMANAGER as a reward for completing the Special Task in most posts. Example could be 0.1 TASKMANAGER for upvoting and resteeming The Nightly Task Manager.

I chose a maximum supply of 10 million to allow for the future growth of steemit, 10 million is much too many for steemits current user base so only 100,000 were issued to start with.

What Causes Some Assets To Fail While Others Succeed?

This is an observation, but for the most part the answer is simply

GREED!

Asset owners see their asset value rise and issue themselves more of the asset to grab up some bitshares, effectively causing a pump and dump. 

How can we avoid this?

I issued myself more then enough TASKMANAGER to avoid any further need for greed....

New TASKMANAGER will ONLY be issued for completing Task Manager special tasks. 

10% of the liquid STEEM will be used to buyback and burn (Reserve) TASKMANAGER at LEAST once a month. 

As STEEM's value rises, so should the value of TASKMANAGER

Supporters of @taskmanager may want to go find out what bitshares is all about, investors from bitshares may want to come and see what steemit is all about. This has the potential to be good for both ecosystems. The give out then buyback will create regular volume, volume attracts investors. STEEM needs investors.

Market makers on Bitshares can take advantage of the price fluctuations between STEEM, BTS and TASKMANAGER to make money in the market differences.

Steemians can take advantage of the @taskmanager reward system and start trading on bitshares without investing capital.
