Aeron (ARN) Review + in depth Analysis: Investing after The Safest Year in Aviation in History

I came across Aeron (ARN) last week and though it was interesting and bookmarked the site. They were promoting something that seemed valuable but I felt like I need to do further research. I'm no aviation expert but their plans seemed like what people were telling about VR a year or 2 ago. It was certainly a project that could create some hype and it was on Binance which is the largest crypto-Exchange(A title that was gained in a matter of months)
https://aeron.aero/#keydates shows that they are currently at the stage of

  • Lobbying with Aviation Authorities

  • Pilot and Company applications public launch

  • aerotrips.com integration with blockchain

  • Token payments for aerotrips.com services

  • Movement of database to decentralized and encrypted storage

  • Aviation Authority portal development

Now let that sink in. I'm not the FUD guy. I'm the facts guy and I have good instinct when it comes to spotting flaws. It's not perfect but I've been doing well. Let's get to the next first thing in the roadmap. What I'm looking at is a company that had a token sale without a MVP (see their roadmap) finally trying to do some lobbying. One could say this is a build and they'll come approach. While looking at a Q&A published on December 31st I came across this quote:

Aeron does not have immediate plans to get involved with major airlines. Existing roadmap is focused on flight schools and general aviation, which is a large industry in itself… we hope to contribute to the quality of flight education and management of the flight schools, where even a basic adoption of an IT system is sometimes a major improvement. Aeron will help to foster an ecosystem in general aviation

Luckily I know some friends who were training to become pilots. I've heard many things about flight schools from them. It's true that even a basic adoption of an IT system is a big deal and it's also true that these flight schools really wouldn't give a damn about some blockchain technology. I'm totally letting the fact that these guys don't even plan to get involved in big players and want to get involved with poor players. I mean flight schools are not like the rest of the sophisticated airlines you know. The difference is like the one between a limousine company and a driving school and Aeron doesn't have immediate plans to get partnered with limousine companies.

The Co-founder of aerotrips.com Konstantin Gertman is the CDO of Aeron and they are yet to achieve aerotrips.com integration with blockchain. Above all their database isn't Encrypted or Decentralized (Read: Equifax Déjà vu) and they plan to address the problem in the future of their roadmap. BTW did you know that the CDO pictured above is "A passionate small aviation enthusiast"? Actually pretty much everyone in the team are. But take a moment to look at this lovely lady Nadezhda Barkanova. Here is the Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nadezhda-barkanova-33b83a1b

Look into those eyes and realize that she is the only person in the team with some god damn experience in the sector Aeron is trying to disrupt/take over. She is the CTO. So she is important. She is an aircraft operation and air traffic management engineer with over 11 years of experience, specializing in full cycle of production aeronautical databases, flight crew training programs, flight simulators and computer based training development. The rest of the team are just "Passionate small aviation enthusiasts" Clever wording there.

Fear not my fellow investors. They also have 1 that's right ONE......Aviation Advisor: https://www.linkedin.com/in/constantinos-kozakos-316b2a25

He's A Managing Director at Griffon Aviation, the first licensed flight school on Cyprus. But he's not part of the team. Just an adviser. You should also keep in mind that Steven Spielberg was the Executive Producer of Transformers Movies.

Let's crunch some numbers,/h1>

There are over 100,000 flights worldwide made daily, serving over 2 million people. Despite the fact that aviation is considered as one of the safest types of transportation, the number of accidents related to air transport averages to about 3302 yearly. The main reason is the human factor.
Main reasons of aviation accidents
57% Human factor
22% Technical problems
12% Weather conditions
9% Other

Source:https://aeron.aero/

100K flights daily means 365X 100,000 flights per year = 36.5 million flights a year.
3302 accidents happen each year.
That means 0.0090465753% flights face an accident.
0.00051565479% of all flights get REKT because of human errors.

The YouTube video already has more dislikes than likes. You can find the same video on their front page.

My fellow investors: I'm not the FUD guy. I stand with facts. 0.00051565479% of all flights get REKT in varying degrees and few of them cause deaths and while making things easier for flight schools and to be encrypted and decentralized data you can take part in putting a stop to planes getting REKT(in varying degrees)
