I don't and had always long for a mother. My mom had passed away too soon long time ago and this feeling of longingness cannot go away from me. Everytime when I meet or see any old lady, my eyes will start to have water, I wish to share this story with you.

Recently, a new neighbor moved in next door, an old couple. Wife's in 70s and husband in 80s. Their only son lives in Oman so they live by themself. Aunty Saras would sometime called me to give her a ride to nearby hospital for her medical appointments. Sometime uncle would also follow together for their medical appointments. As I am normally busy with work and kids, I don't have time to chat with her. The only time we talk is when I send them to hospital. Or she would wait for me at the time when she thinks I would reach my house after office.
Today, aunty Saras sent me food for breakfast. I heard this doorbell rang non stop today at very early morning time. So I ran to the door, half eyes only opened, wondering who could it be. And there she was this lovely old lady standing patiently as I took awhile to open the door.
She said "You must eat while it is hot okay" and passed me the three dishes. I was half awake... but after I closed the door, I just realized I cried. I ate her food with teary eyes. Gosh... I am too much sentimental. And it's so tasty. Thank you Aunty Saras! God Bless both of you always! She is a mother figure to me... I wish I can hug her but I am shy that she would think I am crazy.
There's idly, chicken curry and chicken rendang.
Let me explain a little bit how these dishes were made.

Chicken curry is a common delicacy in Asian. The curry consists of chicken stewed in an onion and tomato-based sauce, flavored with ginger, garlic, tomato puree, chili peppers and a variety of spices, often including turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon and cardamon. The simplest chicken curry is often made with a pre-made spice mixture known as curry powder.

Chicken Rendang
Rendang recipe is similar to curry above, however this Traditional Malaysian recipe is dry and you need to add the coconut milk, sugar and toasted coconut and simmer over moderate heat, stirring, until the chicken is tender and the sauce is very thick. Rendang dish is one of the specialties in Malaysian cooking. You can eat this flavourful rendang dish with steamed white, bread and also idli.
