Since I received a 100% on my biology final exam last term, I decided to order myself a present. The "Alchemist Handbook," by Frater Albertus is a comprehensive book designed to be a basic guide and stepping stone into the world of Practical Alchemy.
Practical Alchemy is the Art which is practiced in a physical laboratory for the means of generating potent medicaments. In this book, the foundations of Alchemy are laid out in an easy to digest manner, along with basic instructions on how to organize and set up your own personal Alchemical laboratory in the comfort of your own home.
The lessons in Practical Alchemy focus exclusively upon the Lesser Circulation, the Vegetable Kingdom. Working with the world of plants is absolutely necessary to any Alchemist who aspires to work with the Mineral Kingdom. Plants are forgiving, where Minerals will lead to serious injury.
This is the second Practical Alchemy book I have the honor of adding to my collection. I look forward to pouring over the pages of this classic tome.
