DON'T TELL MY MOMMA (TRAVEL BLOG #2)(01.22.2018)

DON'T TELL MY MOMMA THAT WE WENT TO CALUWAYAN!!!

Our original plan was to go to Kalanggaman in Palompon but due to the unforgiving weather last week, we reconsidered Caluwayan. Yah know, adventure is good but dying is not part of our plan hahaha so we decided to choose a more safer place wherein we can still do island hopping and have IG worthy photos.

Caluwayan is located in Marabut, Western Samar. Yes, you'll cross the famous San Juanico bridge if you're travelling from Leyte. (win win situation haha) It's like an hour drive, depends on how fast you'll go lolĀ

If you don't have your own private vehicle, you can catch a van going to Marabut.. Just inform the driver beforehand to drop you off at Caluwayan and you're good to go.

So.... Jessa, Kuya Micu and I rode a van at the Tacloban Terminal. BUT we waited for like 2 frickin hours before the frickin driver decided it was time to go, we were there at 9am and the driver decided to go at 11am .. like it was so annoying cause it was a bit hot inside the van and our time for fun and sightseeing was being wasted.

So yeah, we decided to have our lunch first before we do anything else cause we arrived when it was almost 1pm. We had grilled liempo, chicken and chopsuey.

I asked Jessa to take some photos of me before we go boating...

These are all a 100% candid photos that Jessa took.

This one's not.

And Jessa took candid photos of me again.

Then we decided to go boating, I think the boating costed us 500 per hour. We decided to go for 2 hours so we prolly paid 1,000. It was worth it cause we saw a lot of rock formations and the weather was so good. It wasn't that hot nor too rainy. It was so perfect and the sea was calm, we did not get stung by any jellyfish too cause it was high tide and they weren't anywhere to be found....

We were dropped off to a very peaceful island... We were supposed to go to another one but it was full of sea urchins. The boatman was so nice.

I took these photos of Jessa!

That island looks so weird lol

Candid photos of me in pain. Because the sea was so salty, it irritated my eyes lol (Jessa took them hahaha)

But I suggest for you to have your own vehicle to go there, because catching a ride to go home is very difficult and you might as well just stay for the night... Luckily for us, kuya Micu bumped into his close friend that had a car and she actually was the first one to offer us a ride because she experienced on how hard it was to catch a ride before... Commuting is good when you have a lot of patience, but if not then please borrow or use your own vehicle...

This was my outfit, gonna leave it here to brag about my weight loss lol. Hahahahah

That's all for today!
