Another pair of small wine bottles for this 2 for Tuesday. These are 2 Tipo fiasco bottles. Just did a seach to try to find out what country the wine is from since the label is unclear on that. Apparently there is some history here I was unaware of until just now. The name and type are Italian. It is an American wine though coming from California. So where does the Swiss part come from? Well the people that originally settled the region in California were Swiss Italians. Alright back to the bottles. These bottles were actually made to imitate Chianti wine bottles. Explains the wicker wrapping and small size. Kind of a strange coincidence I did the Chianti bottles last week. Anyway these are pretty old too. Tipo is a historic brand that went out of business and was sold, and just restarted in February of this year. Another strange coincidence. Guess I better hold onto these. The fill level on them is kind of low so I don't know if they just evaporated or if that is normal for these. Never been opened.
