The Tinyhouse Big Family are Having Fun in Germany....

After enjoying Finland we decided to get the boat over to Germany, usually, we drive straight through Germany but this time we plan on taking our time to really explore each land we drive through.

When you travel around as much as we do, you get some meet some very unusual characters, just like us! who travel around in some very unusual tinyhomes, just like ours!

This is Heike & Hans's Tinyhouse and it's just as wacky and as colourful as they are :) Heike & Hans are very special to us, we first met them 3 years ago in a funky hippy town called Orgiva, in the south of Spain.

I shall tell you all about Orgiva in another post but Heike & Hans are without a doubt the happiest couple I have ever met, and I am pretty sure it's because they have been living this life since 1988, that's nearly 30yrs of having fun, travelling and enjoying life to the max!!!.

We usually only see Heike & Hans when we are all out travelling around southern Europe so it was great to finally meet them in their homeland Germany.

They have been wonderful host on many levels, not only did they give us a spot to park for a few days but they also showed us around, cooked us food and when I mentioned to Hans that my truck was making a funny noice he jumped straight under to have a look, he diagnosed the problem and then went to his computer and printed out a list of parts, we then went to his local mechanic and booked the truck in for the very next day, the mechanics were just as efficient as Hans because an hour after we had dropped off the truck it was all fixed. :)

If you just drive through a Country then you can't say

you have actually been there.

I have driven through Germany at least 20 times but this is the first time I can truly say that I have been to Germany and I must say, we really love it here, we like it so much that we plan on seeing much more of it before we move on to The Netherlands.

Thank you Hans & Heike for taking us in, looking after us and showing us around your beautiful Country and if anyone else is planning to drive through Germany then I would highly recommend that you stop somewhere along the way and truly take it all in, you won't be disapointed.

As always I will leave you with some more pics of our adventures in Germany
and don't forget to check in next time for more of the same,
but in a different location.

Peace and love to the World.
