TRUE FRIENDSHIP NEVER DIES - My inspirational writing for the mid week

Sometimes we meet people with whom, from the first glance, we can expect anything. Their attitudes, the words, even the sight. It's weird how our 6th sense immediately warns us about them. But it does, indeed. With them we raise up our defenses and, right away, we do everything we can to not cross their way, unless strictly necessary.

And then, there are people with whom, often since the beginning, we feel a huge empathy, which proves itself evident later on. They are friends we love, with whom we have a deep and brotherly relationship. With them we don't need to built barriers, nor to have filters whatsoever, on the contrary, we can be ourselves, in the good and bad times. With them we feel an affinity that goes beyond the senses, deep and shared, in the same way, by them.

I'm lucky to have a good hand full of these friends. That distance doesn't break apart, and whenever we meet again, the talk and feelings flow naturally, as if we had been together the minute before.
These are true friends, who laugh and weep with us as if for themselves.
Long live the good friends, always different from each other, but always alike!
