We've all seen the Google Street View car with the camera mounted on the roof. That of course wasn't possible in Venice, so two Google employees spent two months trekking through Venice with a 20kg (44 lbs) camera strapped to their backs. As they walked the camera took high def 360 photos every 2.5 seconds.
