I would like to welcome everyone to another day of #botanicalgardentours . Today I want to show to you the Hypericum Androsaemum, also known as the Tutsan.
Ich möchte euch alle herzlich auf einen weiteren Tag mit den #botanicalgardentours einladen Heute möchte ich euch die Hypericum Androsaemum vorstellen, die auch als Blut-Johanniskraut bekannt ist.
The Hypericum androsaemum is growing in small shrubs that can get up to 80 cm in high and the stems are sitting really tight together.
The green leaves are about 10 cm long and 6 cm broad. The petals are up to 15 mm long and 6 mm broad and have a nice bright yellow colour. The stamen are very long, even longer then the petals itself anf have the same yellow colour. In the middle there is a bright red berry with a diameter 6 mm. All parts of the plant, especially the fruit, are toxic and can cause nausea and diarrhoea, but if one knows how to use it it can also serve as antidepressand or as anxiolytic, but be very careful if you try it in a tea ;)
Die Hypericum androsaemum wächst in kleinen Sträuchern, die bis zu 80 cm hoch werden können und die Stängel sitzen sehr eng zusammen. Die grünen Blätter sind ca. 10 cm lang und 6 cm breit. Die Blütenblätter sind bis zu 15 mm lang und 6 mm breit und haben eine schöne hellgelbe Farbe. Die Staubblätter sind sogar länger als die Blütenblätter selbst und haben die gleiche gelbe Farbe. In der Mitte befindet sich eine leuchtend rote Beere mit einem Durchmesser von 6 mm. Alle Teile der Pflanze, insbesondere die Früchte, sind giftig und können Übelkeit und Durchfall verursachen. Wenn man jedoch weiß, wie man sie verwendet, kann sie auch als Antidepressivum oder als Anxiolytikum verwenden. Seid jedoch sehr vorsichtig, wenn Ihr sie in einem Tee ausprobieren wollt.
