What is concentrated curation?

Concentrated curation is the foundation of the curation efforts of @buildawhale. It involves a team of Curation Leaders who either by themselves or their own team of Steemians curate a set list of 15-20 posts provided by Curator-In-Chief @chiefmappster on a daily basis.

These Curation Leaders either curate the list of 15-20 posts by themselves or they can delegate the posts to a trusted team of theirs. Their team returns the best gems they find in their list and the Curation Leader passes on the gems to @chiefmappster.

Then on a daily basis a Curation Digest post will be created highlighting a number of quality content created by Steemians who haven't gotten the eyeballs and recognition it deserves.

Our goal of @buildawhale's Curation Digest to to provide another avenue for any Steemian to gain additional recognition and rewards regardless of length on Steemit or Voting Power or any other factor.

One of the difficult things with curation guilds is that the curators curate the same lot of articles. They do not have any direction and just apply their own unique strategies to curate. This results in the same content being looked at multiple times decreasing efficiency and effectiveness of the curators.

Concentrated curation solves this problem by having an unique list of concentrated content (15-20 articles) with no duplicates and repeats between curators.

As a result, curators can actually spend their time consuming and critically analyzing the content. They no longer have to just scan headlines or articles real fast.

By using concentrated curation, the curators can apply their own personal talents, expertise, and experience and actually give these Steemians what they want most:

Feedback.

Steemians want feedback and constructive criticism from literally anyone so that they can at least get some direction to build off of. Some Steemians spend hours and days on pieces of content for challenges and contest and then what?

The creators of these challenges and contest don't even respond.

What the heck is that?

I thought Steemit community challenges and contests were about building communities.

Not re diverting the rewards pool for personal gain and exploitation.

So besides the additional recognition and rewards the Steemians who use @buildawhale's service receive every time they use the service, this Steemians will get want they desire most:

Feedback.

As a result each day an issue of Curation Digest will be posted by @buildawhale. Each issue will highlight several pieces of content created by Steemians that are high-quality and original content.

Also to make sure we can reach every Steemian on the platform, each week the top nominations of each week will be selected and presented in English, Russian, Spanish, and Korean in a Curation Weekly post.

For the authors that make @buildawhale's Curation Digest they will be special bonus rewards in addition to the extra recognition and rewards beforehand. More details to be announced but know we are super pumped about bringing it to this amazing Steemit community.

Stay tuned for the first issue of @buildawhale's Curation Digest tomorrow.
