Every human being on earth desire to be loved and cared for by other people, when one is younger it is possible to be loved and cared for by family members,friends and well –wisher, but immediately you start aging the possibility of the love and care you get from people to start going down is there.
When people are old, they need care and love to battle loneliness which is the major challenges facing them. At this stage they need the love and care of their children and the society at large. This love and care can be in form of regular visit, engaging them in discussion, snapping photos with them and feeding them with foods, fruits, drinks etc.,taking them to hospital for medical care, massaging them, buying them gifts, washing their cloths and bathing them if need be etc.,
It is disheartening that most children don’t have time to show love and care to their old parent or old people around them because of various engagement. We must endeavour to show love and care to old people around us, as this will make them to have fun even in their old age, having in mind that one day it will be you turn.
