What to do in Maastricht, the Netherlands. : My first post on busy.org (Thank you.)

Dear steemit friends,
How was your day? Did you have a nice day? However, I hope you all are doing well. This post is my first post on busy.org. I learned to use it today and started to write this post. I hope I can work well on busy.org and continue using busy.org for creating my next great article.

Today I would like to share with you many nice places to visit in Maastricht, a city in the southeast of the Netherlands. I had experienced visit Maastricht, the city was very beautiful with architecture and old buildings, famous bridge, etc. I can show you some photos below.

Maastricht is as well known as the Maastricht Treaty and as the birthplace of the euro. Maastricht has 1,677 national heritage buildings "Rijksmonumenten". It is the second highest number in the Netherlands, after Amsterdam. Besides, the city is also popular with tourists for shopping.

Visit Saint Peter’s Fortress. A huge Fortress was built on Saint Peter’s Mount in the early 18th century. It's really nice place to visit. You can enjoy historically, buy a ticket for exploring inside of the Fortress. Enjoy a drink or meal at the restaurant which is close to the Fortress. Views the city.

Saint Servatius Bridge. The oldest bridge in the Netherlands. It was rebuilt after The World War II. The bridge looks great and strong.

Visit Basilica of Saint Servatius, is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Servatius (A big church on the right side of a photo). Close to this church, you can visit the Gothic church of Saint John. Two churches is located on the town's main square called, Vrijthof.

It looks like a museum in another side of the church, Basilica of Saint Servatius. You will find amazing things and valuable for many centuries, as you can see from my sample photos below.

Vrijthof is the largest square in the city of Maastricht. Surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and the ancient buildings and churches.

Maastricht is like a magical city. The city is really enchantment. You will fall in love with this city after visiting, I guarantee.
