Special thanks to @arcange who runs these numbers everyday.

Now that we are at end of month, time to post the numbers again.

I want to thank @arcange for the work done each day compiling these numbers and making the charts.

We have 3 months worth of data for analysis purposes to see how the 90 trend might be.

Here is the breakdown.

So what does this all tell us?

To start: THE SYSTEM IS WORKING AS IT IS DESIGNED!!!!

The Whales are losing power.

The Orcas, on the other hand, had a very good month. They had the largest gain over any category. Looking at the accounts, the Orcas had a +10 while the Whales lost 1. This would account for part of the increase. The Minnows also did well adding another 241 accounts.

On June 30, 2018, the Whales and Orcas had 304,784 MVests (78.17% of the total); on July 31, 2018, 305,980 MVests (78.35% of the total)...an increase of .23%....On August 31, 2018, 308,813 MVests (78.10% of the total)...an decrease of .32%.

It comes as no surprise that the Orcas had a great month since we know some of them are buying at the low prices. @exyle stated in his videos that he is buying in his attempt to get to 150K SP. We also come across this post here:

The other number I pay attention to is 10,784. This is the total number of accounts at Minnow or above (roughly 500 SP). This is an important number to keep expanding.

Tomorrow, I will have a post that really emphasis how much the shift is over time. We are seeing the power from the larger accounts slowly diminish. It is being transferred to the lower categories.

In an article yesterday, I showed how the fact that so much STEEM power is being delegated by the larger accounts to applications that are becoming mega accounts themselves in terms of voting power is only going to further enhance this transformation. Each day, these application accounts are voting on hundreds of different posts, most of them from smaller accounts.

Remember, authors take 75% of the reward pool.

I feel pretty confidence we will really start to see an impact after Hard Fork 20 since the applications will be able to sign up users themselves. At that point, I expect the Red Fish and Minnow categories to grow rather rapidly.
