I found this little old woman sitting in the middle of rows and rows of pottery drying in the sun. This was at the Pottery Square of Bhaktapur, one of the ancient cities of Nepal. My guess was that she was in charge of quality control, making sure the pieces were free of defects before they moved on to the next section of the scattered 'assembly line'. And I also think she's been doing this for years and years, and has become a permanent feature at the Pottery Square!
