Marijuana Plants I Have Known And Loved - Happy 420

Happy 420 everyone! Those who have followed me know I love to grow fruits and vegetables and if you read my story you know I come from a cannabis growing family and recently moved back to Mexico from Seattle, Washington where growing marijuana is now legal.

I have shared with you many of the crops I have grown in the last few years but one thing I never posted on Steemit was the weed I grew while I was there. Seeing how it is April 2oth (420) and also Earth Day I thought I would share with you some of the specialty crops I grew in Washington.

Growing marijuana is one of the coolest plants I have ever grown and it has been a blessing in my life. I know some people thing it is the Devil's Weed but my experience with it has been a gift from God. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I first started growing weed when I was 16-years old and it has opened the world to me spiritually, financially and physically.

So let me share with you some of the pictures I took over the last couple years of my personal growing experiences.

This is one of my first greenhouses I built and planted and it grew some of the most beautiful plants ever.

A greenhouse I build and planted

I worked for a producer in Washington and was hired to install a 75-light, 15,000 square foot grow room and this was one of the rooms where we kept all the mother plants to make cuttings from. There are about 100 varieties in this one room.

After work I had my own personal greenhouse growing too. Here the are the plants at different stages of growth and looking very lush.

Here the cannabis plants are starting to form colas

As the end of summer turns into fall the flower production really starts to get intense and the smell is intoxicating.

Buds thickening on the plants

As the buds start to thicken they get very heavy and need to be tied up to prevent them from breaking.

These buds are still 4-6 weeks from harvest

Couldn't resist picking a few early ones to test out. They tasted sweet, smooth and very stony.

And after all that work, this is the finished product, big bags of smelly, sticky buds.

We also made some cannabis lemonade with 151 alcohol, good buds, fresh squeezed lemons and honey. It was so good and we sold it for $10 a bottle. This is the label I made to wrap around the bottle. The alcohol would make it come on a lot quicker that normal edibles do.

Pot Shots would give you an alcohol buzz and about 45-minutes later would cross-fade into a 4-5 hour high

Most every year on 4/20 Snoop Dogg play in Seattle and rents out the Cannabus while he is there. It's a great tour to see all the cannabis related shops while visiting Seattle whithout having to worry about driving stoned.
