Today featuring for the first time from South Africa, probably some of you didn't know the existence of this sports coupe...
The car? The Datsun 160Z
The model Datsun 160Z was manufactured in 1977 in a total of 120 units for the South African market. In 1978, when the stock was ready, Nissan-Datsun South Africa presented and released it on the market with 1.6L 4 cylinders 8 valves and pure 93 HP engine.
The car was manufactured only for two years and in a total of 241 units...
Did you know?
Before Nissan acquired and started to produce cars as Datsun, the name of the brand was Dat (Datson) - originally D.A.T was 3 first letters of the names of 3 original investors who believed Masujiro Hashimoto, the founder of Dat Automobile Manufacturing in 1926.
