I've always had cats growing up. Sadly they don't live forever, life's just not fair. As soon as I moved out on my own ofcourse I got my very first pet that was "all mine." This is Ginger
Before you tell me she's beautiful I know that, she's perfect in every way cept sometimes she makes a mess around her litter box. We talked about it and she promised to do a better job. We'll see..
So I got her from a friend of a friend. Her cat had kittens and she couldn't keep them all. The second I saw Ginger I knew she was the one for me. She was the most colored of the 7 kittens, her coat is spectacular. I took her home and we've been best buds since
She's about 10 years old now. I sometimes think about what it's going to be like when she's not around anymore and it kills me. I have to just enjoy having her while she's here though. Sometimes we have naps together..
She's also a great listener, I tell her all my darkest secrets and she's never betrayed me yet. Perfect. If I'm ever having a bad day she seems to sense it and paws at me or does something rediculous and snaps me out of it.
I know some people don't like cats, it could be because they're independent unlike dogs and u cannot get them to do anything they don't want to do. I respect that tho, when you get affection from a cat it's special.
I guess maybe I'm just a cat lover. Every cat I see I talk to and i even follow strange cats around the neighborhood trying to pat them. I got issues..
So here's to cats, keep being furry and awesome!
I'll leave you with an artistic shot of my best bud
Thanks for checking out my post, we appreciate it and I hope everyone has the best night!
