celestialchallenge Daily Celestial Challenge - Wednesday - Structures/The Church that became an airport, dedicated to the Venezuelan Emigrants. By @ rvag5

Hello dear community, here I will share part of the religious acts commemorated in the cathedral of my community.

The Church our Mrs. of the Asunción San Jacinto, located in Maracay State Aragua, is a church, Venezuelan-Arabic, because it was made with the collaboration of the Arab community of the State, currently is chaired by Father Georges Moussali.

On Holy Thursday, the church made a decoration style Maiquetia Airport, placed a carpet simulating the departure from the airport, to offer the mass for all Venezuelan Emigrants, was an emotional Mass surrounded by many people, and all present that we have family members who have emigrated we got to the soul, in the end I will share the video, which is the author of the church where they will see the emotional words, the decoration and part of what was lived in it.

We are always accustomed to every day of the holy week, religious acts are always the same, the commemoration of the week is celebrated, but it is in each priest to make the difference of his ritual, beyond the criticisms that will always be, This is an indication that every Venezuelan who is here, also suffers and accompanies in his pain the one who left for other lands, that day came to my mind, that the last one to share with my brother, was my mother's birthday in August. last year, plus all the things we share in that trance of his departure, sadness, nostalgia, even make video calls, we chat every day, I support him in personal things from here, it's not the same when your family member is no longer just around the corner, or in another city where you can go to see it, it is very hard for everyone, part of this personal feeling, were also the words of the mass commemorated that day.

On Good Friday, the procession of the Holy Sepulcher was made, before leaving the procession, the father asked the parishioners who had relatives who have emigrated from the country, to place their names on paper next to the cross of the Most Holy, to which the Flag of Venezuela was placed. (This ritual was also done on Thursday)

If we start from the word of Jesus ... where two or more are praying for me there will be me (Matthew 18-20), and this was the commemoration of the week, dedicated to you Venezuelan brothers who are in other lands, for may God care for them, protect them, and all go well for them, that they continue to support their relatives who are here in the country, also fighting for a better future.

The Holy Sepulcher, which was carried by several parishioners, around the church, and when the father returned he asked to rise, and we entered in an orderly manner, asking each one for his personal intention.

Upon entering we kissed the feet of the crucified Christ as a sign of faith, and we were given cotton with oil (blessed in the Holy Mass on Holy Thursday by the priest).

I hope that your holy week has developed in communion, and personal reflection.

Photos taken with my Nokia Lumia phone. Happy Easter Sunday for all.
