I absolutely love throwing clay on the wheel. I dont pretend to be the best, but it is a passion of mine, and I love to put my pieces out there. We fire these at cone 6. I used a mirror black glaze on the top in or so of the lip, then I dip the whole bowl into a shino glaze. The broken beige color with the freckles are so cool to me. I've sold a lot of pieces like this, but bowls are not very popular in the venues I setup to sell. Cups and plates fly off the tables, but not bowls...
