Due to the current value of Steem Backed Dollars, a unique arbitrage is available when receiving author rewards. Do yourself a favor and toggle the setting in the lower right corner of the posting screen so that it reads:
Default (50%/50%)
This way 50% of your author rewards are paid out in Steem Backed Dollars. SBD is intended to be pegged to the US dollar at 1 to 1 ratio. Yet, in the real world, SBD is worth closer to $2.
If you receive a 100% Power Up payout for your work, it won't take into consideration the actual price of SBD.
While SBD is riding high, take the 50%, use the internal market (or external) and sell the SBD into STEEM and then POWER UP from there. You will make yourself a tidy little profit and extra Steem Power!
